Programs the building automation HVAC system to the specified sequence of operations. Customizes graphical screens of HVAC building automation systems. Creates all graphical documentation for new and existing projects. Interacts with maintenance technicians at all levels to resolve BAS HVAC issues and provides answers in a timely manner. Manages relationships and interactions with HVAC BAS vendors. Reports BAS vendors performance. Manages HVAC building automation projects from their inception to completion. Provides management in the administration of the BAS infrastructure system, including the implementation of additions, deletions, and modifications to the system. Assists in evaluating new BAS software and hardware for new and existing facilities. Implements and assures the set-up of hardware and software required for the HVAC BAS system and maintains inventory of each including tracking platform licenses and passwords. Trains and supports users of BAS HVAC automation systems for the FMD Maintenance & Repairs Division. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Associate degree in technical fields related to Building Automation and five (5) years’ experience in Building Automation Systems, including three (3) years’ experience in HVAC BAS equipment.
